Terms of use
1. Participants
- Signing up for an outing is free and non-binding until the threshold is reached.
- Threshold reached: the outing is confirmed and you have 48 hours (and at the latest until 2 hours before the start) to pay for your place. Otherwise, it is released.
- The price paid includes the price set by the organiser and a 5% service fee (none with Partants+).
- After payment, you can pass on your place from your account until 2 hours before the start. You are refunded if another participant takes it and pays.
- Outing cancelled by the organiser or by Partants: full refund to the payment method used.
- You answer the question “Did it go well?” honestly. Abusive reports can lead to the account being suspended.
2. Organisers
- Publishing is free. The outing is described accurately (programme, place, price, what is included) and takes place as advertised.
- The organiser is solely responsible for the outing: permits, insurance, participants' safety, tax and social security obligations relating to their income.
- Partants collects the price of the places on behalf of the organiser and pays them their share, minus the commission (10%, 7% with Pro, 5% with Business), 48 hours after the feedback emails are sent to participants (7 days for their first three outings), to an account linked via Stripe.
- If 20% or more of paying participants report a problem, the payout is suspended during the review. Partants may refund participants if the outing did not take place as advertised.
- For their first three outings, the total value of an outing's places (price × places) is limited to CHF 1'000.–.
- It is forbidden to request payment outside Partants for an outing published on Partants or to publish external links in descriptions.
- Pro, Business and Partants+ subscriptions: monthly, cancellable at any time, active until the end of the paid period.
3. Prohibited content
Outings that are illegal, dangerous without supervision, sexual in nature, discriminatory, or used to sell something other than the advertised outing. Partants may hide an outing, cancel it while refunding participants and suspend an account.
4. Referrals and credits
- Each member can invite other people with their personal link. The referrer receives CHF 5.– of credit per invited person whose first paid outing has taken place and was paid at least in part by a payment method; the invited person receives CHF 5.– of credit on their first paid outing. The amounts that apply are those shown on the site when the credit is granted.
- The referrer's credit remains “pending” until the outing has taken place and the organiser has been paid. Self-referral (same person, same email address or same payment method) gives no right to any credit.
- Credits are personal, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and expire 12 months after being granted. They cover at most 100% of a place's price; a card payment cannot be lower than the payment provider's minimum (CHF 0.50), in which case the credit used is reduced accordingly.
- Credits used for a place are returned if the outing is cancelled, doesn't reach its threshold or if the place is released. The organiser always receives their share calculated on the full price: credits are funded by Partants.
- In the event of abuse or fraud (multiple accounts, fake accounts, fictitious sign-ups), Partants may cancel the credits concerned, refuse a referral and suspend the accounts.
5. Applicable law
Swiss law. Place of jurisdiction: Geneva, subject to mandatory places of jurisdiction.
In the event of any discrepancy between language versions, the French version prevails.
