In short. Partants publishes group outings in Swiss Romandy (Geneva, Vaud, Valais, Fribourg, Neuchâtel, Jura) and online. Each outing has a sign-up threshold: until it is reached, nobody pays; once it is, everyone pays for their place within 48 h. Publishing an outing is free and the organiser is paid 48 h after the outing.

How does it work?
One simple rule, the same for every outing: you only pay if the outing goes ahead.
You join, without paying
You pick an outing and add your name to the list of people who are in. Nothing is charged.
The threshold is reached, you pay
As soon as enough people are in, the outing is confirmed. You have 48 h to pay for your place (card, TWINT, Apple Pay or Google Pay).
You go
Your 4-digit ticket is all you need. Online, the link arrives 1 h before. The organiser is paid 48 h after the outing.
The outing goes ahead
Everyone who's in receives a link and pays for their place within 48 h. The organiser books the venue, the guide or the court knowing how many of you there will be.
Nobody pays
On the deadline, the outing is cancelled automatically. Nothing is charged and you are notified by email.

Payment is only requested once the threshold is reached. Outing cancelled: nothing is charged, or everything is refunded.

How much does a day of outings earn?
Coach, yoga teacher, guide, craftsperson, association, bar or simply passionate: you set the price, the number of places and the threshold. You only book the venue, the court or the guide once the threshold is reached, and you receive 90% of the price of the places, 48 h after each outing.

Invite your friends, go out for free
Share your personal link: your friend gets CHF 5.– of credit on their first paid outing, and you get CHF 5.– of credit once they've taken part. Build up your credits until an outing is completely free.

Frequently asked questions
Do I pay when I sign up?
No. You join the outing for free. You only pay for your place once the minimum number of sign-ups set by the organiser is reached: you then receive a link and have 48 hours to pay (card, TWINT, Apple Pay or Google Pay, depending on your device).
What happens if the threshold isn't reached?
The outing is cancelled automatically on the deadline and nobody pays anything. You receive an email and can join another outing.
Where does my money go when I pay?
It is collected by Partants via Stripe and held until the outing. The organiser only receives their share after the outing, and only if fewer than 20% of participants report a problem. If the outing is cancelled, you get a full refund.
What if I can no longer come?
Before the threshold is reached, you can leave in one click, free of charge. Once paid, your place is put back on sale: as soon as another participant takes it and pays, you are refunded automatically.
How is the organiser paid?
They link their bank account via Stripe (identity check included). Their share, the price of the places minus the Partants commission of 10%, is paid out 48 hours after the outing (7 days for their first three outings).
